This DAK Tropical coat (tropen-mantel) is the final piece that really completes the Heer Tropical impression. Made from brownish wool, it's perfect for a North Africa or Italy impression
As copied from an original piece, this greatcoat features two columns of six front closure buttons in green finish. The inner lining is also identical to an original, made from cotton twill. It also features metal hooks at the neckline. Wide cuffs, diagonal hip pockets. Inner chest pocket and skirt buttons.
No corners were cut in the production of this garment. Very thick wool ensures that it will serve the wearer well in cold and winter climates, as the originals did for many troops in the North African desert and Southern Europe.
This German tropical greatcoat comes with white-piped (infantry) shoulder boards, but more a wide variety of shoulder boards for this Greatcoat, are available separately.
