Fallschirmjäger Brown Jump Boots

Red-brown leather jump boots are available for a limited time preorder.

Due to several requests, we want to make the FJ boots in reddish brown leather a reality. The same pattern of our 2nd pattern jump boots in black leather, will be used. 100% real leather is used for the soles and uppers. Hand-made welt-stitching of the sole follows the traditional construction of military boots from the period.

The key features that makes this pair a true copy are all present:

• 12 pair of lace holes;
• Tongue sewn with the upper to make the boot more unlikely for water to seep in;
• metal nails reinforce the outer sole with the inner sole;
• groove on the heel.

These jump boots were an improvement over the first pattern, now being front laced, preventing ankle injuries. This model was the most common and has seen extensive use with all paratroopers, even after being grounded on Hitler's orders. From surviving examples, it seems that this model was more common from mid to late war.
