Luftwaffe twill side cap for the Blue-gray summer uniform

Made from cotton twill, this side cap forms part of the standard-issue summer clothing, which was different to the Luftwaffe tropical uniform. With pattern and insignia copied from originals in our collection, this Luftwaffe summer Side cap (so-called "Schiffchen") has machine embroidered insignia on wool, hand stitched to the cap.
