This side cap is a replica of the side cap issued as part of the standard panzer clothing for the Hermann Göring division.

The pattern of the cap follows suit with the continental side cap but is constructed from fine black wool instead. This Luftwaffe panzer Side cap (so-called "Schiffchen") has machine embroidered insignia on black wool, hand-stitched to the cap.
